Doctors, medical staff and other members of the Austin community, gathered on November 9 to ‘Party with a Purpose’, a fundraising event for Dell Children’s Surgical Global Outreach program, which offers surgical care in one of the world’s poorest communities.
EVENT CO-HOSTS, DR. DANIELLE SWEENEY AND KEVIN SWEENEY, SHARE ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE TRAVELING TO GUATEMALA.
The evening was a success, raising more $75,000 which will go toward next year’s medical mission trip to Guatemala.
Children’s Urology, one of the event sponsors, has been volunteering on its medical trips since the program was launched four years ago. They are looking forward to the joining the next surgical team traveling to Guatemala.
