CAKUT Clinic

The CAKUT Clinic (Congenital Anomalies of the Kidneys and Urinary Tract) at Children's Urology allows families access to physicians and imaging facilities at Dell Children's Medical Center. This comprehensive clinic provides pivotal care for children born with prenatally detected anomalies of the urinary system during the newborn period. This clinic also serves children with diagnoses such as Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Posterior Urethral Valves (PUV), Vesicoureteral Reflux (VUR), Renal Agenesis (RA), renal hypoplasia or dysplasia, Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), Ureteropelvic Junction (UPJ), and Ureterovesical Junction (UVJ) obstruction.
